ROYAL WEDDING

Fashionistas, they finally did it, and they did it in style. The bride looked fabulous in amazing gown and shoes both Alexander McQueen.

She also wore Robinson Pelham earrings and did her own make-up.

Her sister didn't disappoint as well,  also wearing Alexander McQueen.

THIS IS HOW OTHER DESIGNERS REACTED TO THE DRESS

Karl Lagerfeld said: “She is very elegant. The dress is classic and goes very well in the Westminster decor. It almost reminds me of (Queen) Elizabeth’s wedding, the royal weddings in the Fifties. The proportion of the train is good. The lace is very pretty. I like the veil a lot.”

Catherine Malandrino: “I thought it was great that she chose an iconic British name. I also like that they used the Royal School of Needlework for the lace. I felt the dress was simple, effortless and and regal.”

Monique Lhuillier: “I was beyond thrilled when I heard Sarah Burton had done the dress. She has really picked up the pieces and has resurged the house. The selection of the designer also shows she takes risks and that’s terrific. The best accessory was the sparkle in her eyes. You could see the love between them in how they looked at eachother. Despite having two million watching. It was still their moment.”

Jason Wu:. “I thought Catherine’s dress looked stunning. The details were very well done and I loved the emphasis on craftsmanship and the use of British talent. Her choice to pay tribute to Alexander McQueen was both touching and exciting. ”

Isaac Mizrahi: “I loved the dress. I like plain things a lot right now so this was a winner. It moved beautifully and really flattered her figure. She looked gorgeous.”

Hubert de Givenchy:"The veil is a little flat, but because she has such a lovely face, she can afford to wear it this way. She is very pretty."

Hot Men Friday

Vin Diesel

This is not the type of guy I generally go for.

I'm sure he's fine, but for me he's too muscley, too dopey, too one-dimensional, too cheesy.

But if I happen to see him anywhere I do stop to look because sometimes I am as deep as a puddle.

That guy in the car with him is adorable, but what happened to him? Maybe I'm not paying attention.

Go out and rip it up this weekend you hooches!

Alexander the Great
A Tribute to McQueen

American Vogue hosted a tribute in their glossy pages for one of the greatest fashions extraordinaire I think ever walked among us, Alexander McQueen!

This awe-inspiring spread is an intro for the stellar career and thorough preview for the upcoming Savage Beauty exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute featuring “Alexander The Great” – a beautiful story of the fashion pioneer Alexander McQueen.

Take a look at these creations; McQueen is still my favorite designer!
