So pretty.

I love how he works out right where he is. No fancy-pants equipment needed. I once saw a photo of he and Fergie doing ab work right in a park. Brilliant PR I must say!

I do get a douchebaggery feeling about him, but who cares? I'm only lookin' after all. We'll let Fergie handle his douchbaggeryness.

In fact, she may be the reason I have him on Hot Men Friday. smooches!

Pup and I are about to book an April trip. He works long and hard hours during the tax season and this year we are heading someplace (it's getting narrowed down) where there will be lots of beach, lots of sun, lots of theme drinks, lots of shopping, and maybe even lots of golf.

We are Minnesotans. We are pale, chubby, and not beach ready in the least. Not that all Minnesotans look like this, but enough do that I sometimes hear our part of the country talked about in a not so flattering light. I have amused myself many times in Las Vegas by picking out the people I'm certain are from Minnesota. They are usually wearing bad t-shirts and fanny-packs around largish bellies.

So . . . I am in a competition with a co-worker. We are getting to our fighting-weight and competitive bodies for our April trips. I'm trying to get Pup to participate as well.

Better eating, better exercise, and better feeling. And hopefully better looking.

I stumbled on this just a few minutes ago while cleaning out my photo-log in my blog folder. I was struck by it once again.

This photo made the rounds a few months ago and I remember marveling when I saw it. A woman of a certain age, looking a certain way. A hot, non-bobblehead kind of body.

American Idol

I watch. Yes, I watch. I missed season one, but I do think that's the only season I've missed. I love singing myself (and yes, people have told me to STFU at times) and watching certain people sing brings tears to my eyes. And that's how I judge during the season. When I start crying it means something is happening with the person singing. Maybe only to me. I'm feeling something and they're making that happen. Love it.

Technically this post is not just hot men because we have the lovely, gorgeous, woman-responsible-for-making-butts-in-style-again, I-can-look-at-her-forever, Jennifer Lopez.

Back that up

Love her. LOVE HER. Because who gives us better face than Jennifer? Who has better skin than Jennifer? Who mesmerized us with her yoga poses in that heinous movie Jiggleo (or whatever the hell it was)? I know I just lobbed out a pouncable caption on that picture, but stifle yourself! Ha!

I have a crush on Randy Jackson. I have for YEARS and YEARS. I just love his fluffy (less fluffy now and that's good) body, his FACE and lovely-ass skin, and all those fabulous glasses he wears. And he's critical without being harsh. He's my dawg (yeesh, did I just say that?).

Steven Tyler. I know he looks a bit like a frog now, but please! He's STEVEN TYLER! Janie's Got a Gun people!

Pattie Boyd Harrison Clapton has been the inspiration for five songs from two different rock stars according to wiki. I knew about three of them, but five?

Harrison's, Something and For You Blue, and Clapton's Layla, Wonderful Tonight, and Bell Bottom Blues.

Creative is as creative does I like to say.

Girl Crush

I think I was watching Saturday Night Live with my wasband and longtime girl-bud, Deb-oh-rah long ago when I first saw Debbie Harry. I was instantly mesmerized. She was so damn darling!

My friend kept saying, "Look at her hair! Why would she wear her hair that way? She used to be a hairdresser for cryin' out loud!"

I kept looking at her hair and thinking how I could never pull that off, but she sure was fun to look at. She had the blond in front and dark in back. How forward-thinking was she? Now everyone does it. Around here anyway.

Many years later Deb and I saw her at an outdoor event. We thought she was fabu!
