NYFW SS 2012 REVIEW

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at how many good collections we saw on NYFW this year. However, I had to choose the best ones for you my dearest…

ANNA SUI

This years collection was a bit retro but all those dresses were designed and colored to suit a modern woman yet not dragging attention away from her beauty. Very refreshing colors and airy fabrics, not only seen in Anna's collection, will obviously be a huge trend.

Ovogodišnja kolekcija Anne Sui bila je pomalo retro, ali su sve haljine bile oblikovane i bojane da bi savršeno odgovarale modernoj ženi ne odvlačeći pažnju od njezine ljepote. Osvježavajuće boje i prozračne haljine, viđene i u ostalim kolekcijama, biti će očito veliki hit.

CYNTHIA ROWLEY

Although the collection is very simple, Cynthia achieved a dynamic with playful fabrics in a distorted floral print and meshy leather T-shirts. Fierce metallic patterns and shimmering gold sequins weren't excluded.

Iako je sama kolekcija vrlo jednostavna, Cynthia je postigla dinamičnost zaigranim tkaninama iskrivljenog cvijetnog uzorka i mrežastim, kožnim t-shirt majicama. Fierce metalik uzorci i zlatne šljokice nisu izostale niti ovaj put.

MONIQUE LHUILLIER

Like always Monique's collection reflects luxury. Bold color blocking, leather, lace and harness detailing are what Monique reccomends for spring 2012.

Kao i uvijek kolekcija Monique odiše luksuzom. Odvažni color blocking, koža, čipka pa i remenje jesu ono što Monique preporučuje za ljeto 2012-e.

CUSTO BARCELONA

As each year Custo brings us something new. This year he played with shifting holograms, creating playful 3-D prints.

Kao i svake godine Custo nam donosi nešto novo. Ove godine odlučio se je poigrati promjenjivim hologramima kreirajući tako zaigrane 3-D printeve.

VERA WANG

Very simple and very feminine will be perfect for any occasion next summer. In order that the collection doesn't seem too plain Vera added some sculptural details.

Vrlo jednostavno i ženstveno biti će savršen odabir za bilo koju priliku iduće ljeto. Kako kolekcija ne bi izgledala preobično Vera je dodala nekoliko skulpturalnih elemenata.

MICHAEL KORS

Safari is not my thing but I must admit this collection was fabulous. For the first time Africa came alive in the center of the NYC.

Safari mi i nije najdraža stvar, ali moram priznati da je ova kolekcija odlična. Po prvi put Afrika je oživjela u centru New Yorka.

HERVE LEGER

If you ask me how to look like a sexy and dangerous warrior? I say go and get a dress from Herve Legger SS 2012 collection. Muted colors and moderated tones of gold and silver appeared throughout the collection.
