Don’t Belief Everything you Read!

Dr. Robert Rey has been on a nationwide book signing tour promoting his book, “Body by Rey” exclusively available at selected CNA stores. During this time The Sondag Newspaper ran a story, July 24^th on page 17, which depicted Dr. Robert Rey, a qualified black belt martial artist, demonstrating a jujitsu movement in view of many people on a young lady and labeled it as “inappropriate”.

The young lady in question had this to say: “I have seen Dr. Robert Rey’s reality show where he trains by doing martial arts. Being a martial artist myself I asked him what a woman should do in self-defense,” the lady who wishes to remain anonymous continued: “I am deeply hurt by the insinuation that I would partake in such activity with a married man.”

Dr. Robert Rey’s wife, Hayley Rey also added that she is proud of her husband teaching women how to defend themselves.

It is save to assume that the Sondag Newspaper didn’t do their homework on what actually happened and wrote this article from a “cheap sensationalist” and uninformed point of view.

I personally met Dr. Robert Rey and can tell you first hand that he is indeed a really nice and polite guy. Luckily I belief that Dr. Rey’s endeavors here in SA will speak for them self and that his true nature will become apparent to the public, and that sleazy “newspapers” will do no harm!

In a sit down interview with Dr.90210 him self, I learned about the new book he’s been working on to help us all to look and feel better about what we see in the mirror. Body by Rey is the brain child of acclaimed Plastic Surgeon Dr. Robert Rey who we all know and love form the Reality TV Series Dr.90210, in his book he explains how he got his killer abs and how we all have a choice to either be fat & old or to stay YOUNG & TONED by using his advice.

I asked Dr. Rey if the old saying that a beautiful body all comes down to genetics was true, and he very vibrantly explained that it was all a bunch of bull, and just a way for people to make up excuses. Listing to the Doctor I was amazed how enthusiastic and happy he was, so I asked him about it and he said that “I choose to be happy, I make a decision every day to be happy” and he also explains how having a positive attitude is the key to being successful and happy in every day life.

Brevicure joins forces with Brand Ambassadors 

Brevicure, part of the well-known SHM group of companies, holds the license to the newly introduced skincare range ‘Sensual Solutions’ endorsed by celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Rey.  This new product line was recently launched into the South African consumer market and it is the first of many more to come. Singer-Songwriter LeAnne wins at 17^th Annual South African Music Awards!

One of SA’s hottest Singer-Songwriter’s, LeAnne walked away with the awards for “Best R&B/Neo-Soul Album” and “Best Produced Album”, at this years’ 17^th Annual South African Music Awards, held on Friday night at Monte Casino, Johannesburg.

This was LeAnne’s first nomination for the South African Music Awards; and she also closed the awards ceremony performing her hit single, “Deal With It”.

She received the “Best R&B/Neo-Soul Album” award for the critically acclaimed album, “The Journey”. LeAnne said: “I’m so emotional, I can’t believe this, I’ve worked so hard and waited so long to have this.” in her acceptance speech, going on to thank the producers on her sophomore album.

Sipho Dlamini, Alexis Faku and Michael Manishana who received the award for “Best Produced Album”, produced “The Journey”.

LeAnne wore a gray Funduzi gown by designer Craig Jacobs and looked amazing, this was the perfect offset for her winning night!

Congratulations LeAnne on your amazing win, and congratulations to Brand Ambassadors for being the drive behind this phenomenal singer’s PR!

Patrón Glam

Brand Ambassadors host the launch of Patrón Silver!

 Brand Ambassadors hosted the Patrón Silver Launch with a magnificent party, the venue was an Italian mansion in the hills of Houghton overlooking Jozi - Everything from the entertainment to the guests list was in true Patrón VIP style.

When I arrived at the mansion a driver ushered me to the top of the hill where all the Patrón glam was happening. In Brand Ambassador style everything was lavish, with Patrón cocktails in hand and an amazing lineup of artists rocking out on stage I knew that the night would be amazing!

The entertainment was out of this world with two of my favorites doing what they do best! Flash Republic lit up the crowd with their amazing sound and JR made sure that the street smart vibe of Jozi came along to the party!

Head Honcho Show Latest Collection at 


AFI Joburg Fashion Week

Clothing brand Head Honcho, showed their latest collection at African Fashion International Joburg Fashion Week, held at Fashion Kapitol, inner city Johannesburg this week and it was absolutely FAB.

The fashion show included statement pieces from the Head Honcho range, with T-Shirts reading: “Respect”, “Stay Fresh”, “Get Money” and “Respect My Hustle”. Models, which also included socialite and diva extraordinaire Khanyi Mbau, were complimented by a performance by rapper AKA, known for his chart-topping hit, “Victory Lap”.

Head Honcho’s newest collection was a huge hit and I will def. be getting my hands on some of this fly merchandize.
