Noritaka Tatehana is a true example of how fashion becomes art. His creations vary between madness and fashion perfection, but leave no one indifferent. He began creating shoes and clothes when he was 15, all self-taught. Later, he majored dyeing and weaving in Tokyo National University of the Arts, creates and dyes kimonos and wooden clogs utilized yu-zen dyeing. His collection pieces are hand-executed exclusively by the designer himself in all details of process and it takes ove 5 months for the order to be dispatched. His new collection will be released in May, and I can't wait no more.
I always appreciate the fashion-forward vision, because it never fades......
