Groovy Mood

Roberto Cavalli’s 2011 autumn collection “Groovy Mood” is also playing on the retro revamp trend that seems to be taking the fashion world by storm this year – with 70’s inspired 3piece suits and layered jackets/coats. Cinched waists, defined shoulders and peaked lapels are extremely prominent in this collection and the latest BIG men’s trend the “semi-slouchy pant” was also integrated in this semi-formal look.

I’m not 100% convinced about the “grungy beardy” models used in the Fashion show but the collection it self was pretty sophisticated and trendy! Another HUGE trend showed up in this collection as well – the layered jacket/coat look, with 3 piece suits styled with an additional coat or dinner jacket this trend seems to be making its way around every men’s collection so far!
