Actress Han Dantong’s underwater photoshoot, advocating for shark conservation

Actress Han Dantong (韩丹彤) recently released a fashion underwater photoshoot, themed with the shark conservation, in which she depicted the endangered creatures of the deep via different expressions such as they are longing for being saved, sad and desperate, and running for life.

Han Dantong said she has long been advocating for environmental protection. Sharks play a key role in the healthy ocean ecosystem, but the shark finning has dramatically depleted their populations due to the increasing demand for shark fin soup in the market. In order to have more people be aware of the vulnerable shark species and take actions for shark conservation, Han shot the series of photos under water, calling people to refuse the shark fin soup.
