World’s highest “treasure pagoda” erected in Hebei

Recently, a “Treasure Pagoda” decorated with “gold ingots” was built up at a scenic spot in Luquan City, Hebei Province. According to the authority of the scenic spot, the octagonal “Treasure Pagoda” stands 30.7 meters tall, and embraces eight giant statues of gods of prosperity inside which integrated with other countries concepts on the god of prosperity. Besides, the pagoda’s cone-shaped body decorated with the golden ingots looks as the sail in the wind, implying that the gods of prosperity from all directions come to protect fortune in the area. Now the authority is applying for the Guinness World Records as the highest ‘treasure pagoda’ in the world.
