Elderly single man in 60s imprisons young woman for over 2 years as his wife

February 13, 2012, in a village in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, the local police rescued a 20-something years old woman from a house where she was imprisoned by an elderly and single man in 60s as his wife for over two years.It was learned, the young woman went away from home because she had a quarrel with her parents, and came to this village in 2009. Cheated by the elderly man, surnamed Wang, the stray woman had to live in his house temporarily. In the beginning, Wang treated her nicely, but after one week passed, the elderly man locked her up in the house, and raised a dog to watch the door, when the woman wanted to go back home as she missed her parents.

In order to stop the woman running away, Wang even took off all of her clothes, and used the violence to warn her not to return home.Under such a circumstance, Wang caged the woman in his house for over two years. It was said, the local residents often heard the woman’s cries and screams from Wang’s house.

The police were totally stunned when they broke into the elderly man’s house and the room caging the woman. It was way too dirty, and it seemed the woman urinated and defecated directly on the bed.The woman even had no response in the beginning, when police put clothes on her and said to her that they came to save her out.

The elderly single man however said to the police that she was his wife he found somewhere and took home himself, and he believed that the woman was willing to live with him.
